Attendance Points: To encourage habits of good attendance and punctuality and to provide a completely objective measure of unacceptable attendance, Yakama Forest Products utilizes the following point scoring system with a corresponding disciplinary action:
Absent without calling (no call no show): 3 points for each occurrence
Unexcused (unapproved) absence: 2 points for each occurrence
Unexcused (unapproved) tardiness: 1 point for each occurrence
Not calling in before the start of your scheduled shift: 1 point for each occurrence
Calling in and not showing up for work: 3 points for each occurrence
For every 30 working days of perfect attendance 3 points will be deducted from an employee's score. The employee must be in working status to be eligible to have points removed.
Doctor/Dental Notes: Employees absent due to a doctor or dental visit must provide their supervisor with a note from their visit fro the date(s) they were absent. Unacceptable note or lack of note will result in an unexcused absence. If an employee calls in to their supervisor after the start of their shift to notify that they will be going to the doctor/dentist they will receive 1 point for not calling in before the start of their shift.
