For many employees at YFP the 8, 10, 12hr shifts are a back breaking, detailed oriented orchestra as we measure and count every log down to the board, cut it, dry it, wrap it up and ship it out. What's left over is chipped and weighed and any other remains are salvaged and donated to the community. For 15 years YFP has been transforming a natural resource into a project that is not only used in more ways than we can imagine but sourced out internationally connecting us to people across the world. In late July we had the privilege of having our international buyers from Japan and Canada in the house to tour our mill and witness first hand our operating procedures.
